EXPERIENCE
Irina Majauske is an English-educated lawyer with over a decade of experience in aviation commercial transactions. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of aviation business activities, including high-value asset transactions (sale, purchase, lease, management, operation, and teardown), spare parts supply chain management (lease, exchange, support, including PBH, and consignment), and transactions involving all types of aircraft and engine maintenance, engineering, and support services (under EASA Part-145, Part-CAMO, Part-21J, and Part-21G). Her extensive knowledge also encompasses advising on all aspects of other aviation industry commercial contracts, such as ground handling, crew and certifying staff training, aircraft painting, catering, airport use, charters, and agency agreements.
Irina possesses international experience, having worked in the UK, Canada, and the Netherlands.
Her experience as in-house counsel and company secretary gives her a comprehensive understanding of the commercial considerations of all stakeholders in a transaction, from service providers to airlines, manufacturers, and lessors. This knowledge gives her a unique perspective on a company's external legal risks and contractual obligations and its internal risk management, compliance, due diligence, export control, client onboarding processes, and overall corporate needs.
