The Law Firm AVERUS welcomes two new faces to the team − expert in dispute resolution, international trade, environmental and customs law, Attorney-at-Law Jonas Sakalauskas as Partner and criminal and civil Attorney-at-Law, Vaidas Rakauskas, as Associate Partner.

They will strengthen AVERUS’s dispute resolution practice in the field of regulated industries.

Jonas Sakalauskas is an experienced dispute expert who has been representing clients in complex customs, environmental, other regulated industries and international trade cases for many years.

Prior to AVERUS, he worked at AAA Law, Sorainen, and Magnusson law firms. Jonas Sakalauskas also holds the positions of Chair of the Customs Practitioners Association and Chair of the Committee on Administrative Law and Proceedings of the Lithuanian Bar Association. He earned a Master’s degree in Law from Mykolas Romeris University, and is continuing an Executive MBA at ISM.

Attorney-at-Law Vaidas Rakauskas joins AVERUS as an Associate Partner. His focus is on administrative disputes, civil and criminal cases. Vaidas Rakauskas has more than ten years of experience, mainly representing clients in courts, resolving business disputes, and dealing with criminal cases. He also assists in the Committee on Administrative Law and Proceedings of the Lithuanian Bar Association. He holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from Vilnius University.
