Consistent leadership in aviation and transport; Tier 3 ranking in dispute resolution in Lithuania

AVERUS continues to hold leading positions in aviation, shipping, and transport, according to the latest rankings by the international legal directory Legal 500. In the highly competitive field of dispute resolution, the firm is consistently ranked in Tier 3.

The practice is led by highly regarded shipping law expert Regina Derkintytė-Kaupienė, together with aviation specialist Laura Čereškaitė-Kinčiuvienė. R. Derkintytė-Kaupienė remains the only lawyer in Lithuania to be recognised in the Legal 500 “Hall of Fame” in this category, while L. Čereškaitė-Kinčiuvienė retains her “Leading Partner” status.

In this category, Senior Associate Ignas Kerbelis has been recognised as a “Leading Associate”.

Steady growth in dispute resolution

Legal 500 also notes that AVERUS, as a boutique law firm focused on the transport sector, has been steadily strengthening its dispute resolution practice in recent years, covering disputes related to energy, environmental protection, and waste management.

The practice is led by Partner Jonas Sakalauskas (Vilnius office) and Partner Raimondas Kivylius (Klaipėda office), who specialises in financial and commercial disputes.
